1. What is your favorite fall activity?
Picking just one might be a little difficult. Drinking apple cider, decorating the apartment, being with family, enjoying the scenery, carving a pumpkin, and of course, drinking all the PSLs.
Yes, I made this meme just for this post. #dork |
2. Do you follow a football team? If so, which one and why?
Very, very occasionally do I truly care about football. The main game that concerns me every year is Ohio State vs. Michigan. I like to pretend that I'm a huge Ohio State fan, but mainly just because it gets a rise out of my Michigan family.
3. What is something fun about fall in your area?
Well not necessarily in my area, but about an hour or so north, we've got the Blue Ridge Parkway. I don't even know where my trip will take me, but I will absolutely be driving through to see a scene like this:
4. What are your favorite fall staple outfits?
This post right here, shows just how much I love sweaters and scarves. I try to mix and match them in just about every way possible. And you can never go wrong with colored jeans, pants, cords, however you choose to do it!
5. What is your favorite fall holiday? Tradition?
Is it bad that I choose Black Friday? That counts as a holiday, right?
Our traditions have changed a bit over the years, like last year, I did ALL of my shopping online. I also worked two 10 hour shifts that day, so the online shopping was slightly necessary. I don't think I'll be going for a retail job again anytime soon.
OMG, I forgot about Black Friday! We don't have that "per se" in Canada but we've jumped on your bandwagon and a ton of stores now offer the same deals here!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I've found someone else who isn't a die hard football fan. Ha!
Stopping by from the link-up. That view looks beautiful. I remember vacationing there as a kid. We get nice colors here in MI but we don't have the beautiful mountains to add.
ReplyDeleteBlack Friday should totally count as a holiday! I didn't even think about that when I came up with my answer.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from the Sunday social.
Okay - what an amazing view from that highway! That is absolutely gorgeous. As for Black Friday - sure! I'd totally count that as a holiday :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful view! New follower from Sunday Social :)
ReplyDeleteThe meme was hilarious. That's kind of the face I made when I found out they were back. Pumpkin Spice gives me my first taste of fall every year. Once the kids are on the bus, away I go to get a cup.

I agree, I prefer the shopping online for Black Friday - not that I've actually ever gone out shopping on Black Friday, but I've heard the horror stories and I am all set lol

Love anything pumpkin and pumpkin drinks! I thought PA's leaves were beautiful - that picture is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBlack Friday ooh I had traditions to that too! And then shopping online just became loads easier!
Stopped by from Social Sunday! :)
pumpkin spice latte? how come I have not heard of this, it sounds tasty!
ReplyDeletethere is nothing nerdy about creating a hyperbole and half meme..wait...hmm..carry on!
You may be close to me since the blue ridge parkway is not so far from me...maybe longer than an hour...two is more likely :) I need to drive up there this fall. We don't ever do anything like that because we are more likely to drive 3.5 hours the opposite direction for the beach :)
