The Greatest Benefit of My Turning 21

Is being able to vote! Seeing how 4 years ago, I was only 17, this year was just the icing on the cake after seeing all my cool older friends vote. ;)
I was so ecstatic to have this opportunity and responsibility. Instead of going into all the politics and urging you to vote, like every other person in the world. I just want to share my experience, because #youknowyoureabloggerwhen you have an outfit just for voting, and document everything through pictures.

  1. I was able to vote in the last election, but I was in college at the time so I sent in an absentee ballot. So this was my first year to truly "go" vote. It was pretty cool! :)

    1. How fun!! I thought about early voting, but totally forgot about it. Silly me!

  2. I know Mariel!! I felt so proud, being able to do something that so many people have fought for. It was a great duty and responsibility that I will certainly take place in again and often!

  3. Yay for voting! What a long line at your polling place! I was in and out in ten minutes, but I went during the work day so I think I missed most of the rush. And of course, I wore a pre-planned, election day outfit! :)

    1. Hahah I love it! My line was actually way shorter once someone came inside and told us that M-Z could go wait inside to vote. After that, it was only like 10 people in front of me!
