Weekend in Charlotte

Words cannot describe just how much I miss my home! For my newer followers, I'm originally from Charlotte, NC and am almost always considering moving back.
Uptown Charlotte, NC
I moved to Louisiana for school, but when I decided to change my major, it turns out the school I've chosen was no longer my first choice. So this weekend in Charlotte was full of meetings with counselors, hanging out with old besties (including Your Perfect Peace!), walking around Uptown, trips to IKEA, and going to my home church. It was literally a sublime weekend. Here's some of my favorite pictures from the week! It was so hard choosing so few to share.
The beautiful flowers our host bought us!
Panera Bread! We sadly don't have one in Baton Rouge!
Why hello Ikea! It was nice to see you too!
Light rail tracks, on a quite dreary day!
My itty bitty school is finally getting football! We just had to sneak in the stadium to grab a few pictures.
Walking through the Botanical Gardens on campus made boyfriend look like The Lorax.
This pretty piece of art on campus was too awesome lit up!
Of course, there were a few friends in Charlotte that I didn't get to see this trip, but we still had such an amazing time. If things work out, there's a pretty strong chance I'll be back in just a few short months!
What about you followers, have you ever been to the beautiful city?

  1. I have never been to Charlotte. I don't get out much, haha. I'm glad you had such a nice trip though! :) I love Panera - I eat there way too much!

  2. It's funny how you did more in one weekend than I've done in my 4 years at uncc. I still haven't been to the light thing OR the botanical gardens! I've gotta do this stuff before I graduate! It was SO good seeing you and I can't wait for you to move hereee!
