I love to travel. I've had a very blessed childhood that involved moving and traveling all over the country, and sometimes the world! I know "they" say that you should uproot your children too many times and all that, but I wouldn't trade my childhood for anything. That being said, there are still a lot of places I haven't been. Working at the hotel for a very short time made me realize how badly I still just want to travel. So, here's a list of the top 10 places in America I'd just love to go!
1. Seattle, Washington
2. Chicago, Illinois
3. St. Louis, Missouri
4. Boston, Massachusetts
5. Denver, Colorado
6. Phoenix, Arizona
7. Juneau, Alaska
8. Niagara Falls, New York
9. San Francisco, California
10. Baltimore, Maryland
These of course are in no particular order. I'd gladly go see one just as soon as possible. I've joked with the boyfriend quite a few times about just renting an RV and traveling around America. What about yall? Have any of you been to these great cities, or even live in one? I'd love to hear all about it!
The only place I've been on your list is Phoenix but I am dying to see it all! We are actually planning a trip to Boston for 2 years from now!
ReplyDeleteIn all honesty, I wouldn't have even put Phoenix on the list if I hadn't flown over it a few years ago. It was so breathtaking though! I was completely shocked. It's been on my list ever since!
DeleteI've been to Boston, Niagara Falls and Baltimore! Niagara was great, we loved it there and Baltimore is just amazing. Lots of great stuff there to do/see/eat. If you ever go let me know I'd love to let you in on some of the places we love :)
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks so much! I definitely will! I went to the Canada side of Niagara forever ago, so I say it doesn't count. I was like 5 at the time. I just want to visit the Northern part of the country. It's been a while!
DeleteI live in Maryland and work in Baltimore! It is indeed an incredible place with SO much to do! And the best part is that it's only 45 minutes to DC!!!
ReplyDeleteHahah I realized after I put up my list, that I didn't even have DC on it! I've never been there either, but it's definitely on the longer list. :)
DeleteMy parents have always said that when they retire they are going to buy a motor home and travel America. Not a bad idea! I love all of your choices. Niagara Falls is breathaking!

That's what my grandparents do and I just think it's the coolest thing. They drive around from flea market to flea market selling their ginormous/ever growing collection of amazing antiques and sweet vintage items.
DeleteI always joke about having a road trip also! It'd be fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat GREAT choices!!!!
ReplyDeleteChicago is one of my FAVORITES!!!!!!!!!!!!
You should definitely come to grand old Minnesota at some point in your travels!!!! :) We'd love to have you!
I'd love to go to Boston and Juneau! Denver and San Fransisco are pretty awesome!! :)
ReplyDeleteI currently live on the outskirts of Phoenix and work in Central phoenix so that one is off the list. I went to Seattle last year and I cannot wait to go back. I have also been to Chicago, Illinois and Baltimore, Maryland. They have all been lovely cities. I was born and raised in California but I never made that trip to San Francisco. I will make sure to go there sometime while I am still young. I love travelling and travel whenever I can.
ReplyDeleteI still need to go to Denver and Seattle! I would love to rent an RV w friends and travel all the states. Great list of wonderful places!
ReplyDeleteI *love* Chicago! And Seattle. And St. Louis. And I *really* (really) want to go to Boston in the fall to see the foliage! We went to Seattle in the fall two years ago and the foliage was incredible. It didn't rain the whole time we were there!
