Hi Guys! My name is Melissa and I've known Kara since middle school. She was sweet enough to ask me to do a little guest post for her during her 25 Days of Crafting.
I were decorating my apartment for Christmas and decided to do this cute paper star/snowflake. It was super easy, quick, and fun...so I wanted to share it with you!
Step One:
Fold the paper into a triangle to create a perfect square.
Step Two:
Cut off the excess paper on the side.
Do this for all 6 sheets of paper.
Step Three:
Cut 3 diagonal strips stopping about an inch or two from the top.
Do this on both sides.
This is what it should look like.
Step Four:
Open the paper and roll in the 2 middle pieces. Tape them together.
Step Five:
Flip the paper over and do the same thing to the next set of strips.
Continue flipping it over and taping the strips together until it looks like this:
It should look like this.
Do this for all 6 sheets of paper.
So, I forgot to take pictures of every step. Luckily my roommate took pictures of my while I was making mine. See in the bottom corner how I put them all together? That's what you do :)
Staple them all together in the middle and tape each one to the one beside it.
I hung mine in a doorway :)
