High Five for Friday
I'm a little crunched for time this morning! I'll be on my feet for a good 12 hours today, and I'm totally still in bed, meaning I have 11 minutes to write this post. Challenge accepted.
My high fives from the week:
1. I have pretty awesome parents. They gave me a giftcard to Wal Mart, which meant I got to buy the expensive meat this week. As a result, I learned how to cook pork chops!
2. I found a little Ziploc baggy full of pumpkin spice kisses from the fall! I still have a few left to munch on. ;)
3. Rooms and I signed up for Netflix discs. SUPER stoked. We had Spiderman and Pitch Perfect this week. Best choices EVER.
4. Erin, the sweetest blogger ever, has brought back our favorite hashtag, #thankfulsweetness.
5. And last, because it certainly is the least, I got a haircut this week. And I hate it!! She wouldn't give me the style that I wanted because it was a "kindergartener's hairstyle." I'm still fuming over it.
That was my week in a nutshell. Come link up with Lauren for H54F!
And have a super safe, amazing, fun filled Easter weekend!!

Ready for Summer Time!
It's no secret that I love my job at American Eagle, and mostly just because of the discount. It's so unfair though, because all the customers are buying and getting ready for the summer while I'm stuck envying. So instead of buying, here's the three outfits I'm drooling over for this summer season! Also, no one should allow me to spend more than ten minutes on Polyvore. Can we just say addicting?!

Sunday Social
1. What is your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?
That depends on whether or not the electricity goes out! If the electricity is out, we usually play board games around candle light. If it's a hurricane, we tend to play outside in it and watch Christmas movies. Like we did here. ;)
2. What is your favorite thing to do on a summer weekend?
Anything that involves being outside. Preferably just laying out with my latest Cosmo. Of course, the beach is always a high option. And I'm only 3 hours from Charleston this summer!
3. What is your favorite spring activity?
I seriously associate everything spring with Easter, so I pull out all the Easter traditions as early as possible. Dying eggs, eating bunnies, the usual. Also it's better if a king cake is involved, but I couldn't find one in Charlotte this year!
4. What is your favorite way to spend a winter day?
Cozied up with lots of blankets, hot chocolate, and Christmas movies. I could watch Christmas movies until the sun goes down.
5. What is your favorite season and why?
Fall! I love the changing leaves, being with family, pumpkin flavored everything, cooler temperatures, and everything else. I honestly wish we could stay in fall all year round.
Seriously, it doesn't get prettier than that! |

1. Anyone else as sad as I am to see Google Reader go?
No worries though! Click here to find me on bloglovin!

2. Today, my nephew is 4 months old!! The time flies so quickly and he's already SO big!
3. My puppy got groomed!! You can see his horrible homeless look here, and his new precious mohawk saving look here:
4. I got a new job!
At a ridiculously insane, kid overflowing place. Thank goodness there's a Starbucks across the street!
5. I feel a little silly on this one, but I finally got in touch with my Hello Box partner this week! She's super sweet, and I love the idea! You should 100% go follow her!
Linking up with Lauren for my H54F! Have a great weekend!

What I Wore Wednesday
Follow my blog with Bloglovin
Hello bloggers! I'm back for a much better WIWW post. I usually have my roommate take my pictures, and somehow she ends up getting like half the kitchen in the picture. I know I'm not even close to a fashion blogger, but I'd like to have somewhat pretty pictures for my posts! So for this week, I decided to ask the beautiful Melissa to take my pictures. She is seriously such an awesome lady, and lives just across the street!

What I'm Into Lately
Do you ever copy old posts? This is my first time! Check out the original post here, then check out what's different since. And this post is super perfect for those lacking blogger inspiration.
What I'm reading:
I swear to you, I've started and stopped this book like 800 times. I'll finish it one day!
TV show worth watching:
By far, my favorite show right now. Even more than New Girl! Ironically, I just watched this episode yesterday and 100% cried my eyes out.
Movie I've Seen:
Horrible Bosses!
I haven't really gone out to the movies lately, but this is what I watched before bed last night.
In my ears:
This is pretty much all I listened to for my 7 hour roadtrip.
And a little Adele. ;)
Items of Note:
Colston is going to the groomer tomorrow!! I'm pretty sure if someone found him (not that I'd ever let him get away), they'd think he was homeless. Time to put out the big bucks/$45!
PS this is what he looked like when I came home from my trip. I think he spent a lot of time in his crate while I was away. He usually is not so scraggly!
What I'm Looking Forward to:
Wednesday! It's the only day I have off from work and class this week, and I'm strongly considering a Treat YoSelf day.
(Also watched and cried at this episode recently. What would we do without Netflix?)
And my same question from last time:
What about you? What are you into lately?
Send me a link if you steal the post idea! I'd love to see what you're into!

Sunday Social
Any scary movie whatsoever. Once I watched the smallest amount of The Grudge 3, and literally slept with my TV on for about two months and refused to shower after dark. Worst experience ever.
2. What is one TV show you have always wanted to get into but haven't yet?
Friends! (Insert the audience's *GASP!* here)
I have never seen an entire episode! If they put it on Netflix, I will totally be all over it.
3. What is one daring activity on your bucket list?
Illustrating and writing children books. I feel like its a really hard field to get into.
4. Would you ever travel alone?
The trip there was 7 hours, but getting home took 9 hours because of traffic!
5. What activities do you like to do alone?
Watch TV/Netflix. It's my favorite chill time at the end of the day.

High Five for Friday!
Oh my, bloggers! I have so many good things to share with you this week! It's still technically my spring break today, even if I have to go back to work in 30 minutes. If you didn't see, for my spring break, I roadtripped by myself for 7 hours to surprise my mom! She had no idea I was coming, and it was so sweet to see each other.
1. While in Kentucky/Ohio, we got 7 inches of snow! Seriously, for a girl who's lived in the south for the majority of her life, this was amazing! I can't even remember the last time I saw this much. Way more pictures in this post.
2. There were a few places I got to go to while up north that North Carolina doesn't have. For example, H&M:
3. And Raising Cane's!
Now for you ladies who swear by Cane's sauce (let's be honest, you know you love it!) you need to try their honey mustard! I actually prefer it over Cane's Sauce.
4. I'm reunited with my little Colston again after being gone all week! Boy, did I miss him!
Someone's a little grumpy precious in the mornings.
5. And can we please just take a moment to talk about what in the world is going on with Spencer Hastings? Freaking out still!
Do you think she's actually crazy or just acting? I cannot tell for the life of me (or Toby, who I bet is totally still alive)!

Roadtrippin'
It's Spring Break!
Thankfully, that doesn't necessarily mean the same thing for me as most college students. My original plan was to stay home and work my butt off, but then I had 4 days off in a row. Talk about boring! So instead of staying home and crafting or blogging my little heart out, I decided to drive to Kentucky to surprise my mom! My goal was to make her cry, happy tears of course, and it was totally accomplished. Here are some of my pictures from the 7 hour drive. I was in love with all of the scenery around!
I started in my beautiful hometown of Charlotte, where I was on three interstates in five minutes. Thank goodness Siri was telling me where to go the whole time!
Then I went through Chimney Rock. SO many mountains!
Then I literally went through Bat Cave. I thought Pinterest made it up!
Then I left my lovely state, and entered Tennessee. I wish I had taken more pictures throughout!
Then after 7 long, lonely hours, I finally made it to Kentucky!
I'll be here with my lovely family until Thursday.
Have a great week! Let me know if you're on spring break (teacher or student!) too and what your plans are.
