Sunday Social!

1. What is something you’ve always wanted to do but are afraid of?
Really learn to cook. Don't get me wrong, I can follow most recipes down to a tee. But I want to get into the not following recipes, making up my own concoctions, and all that jazz.

2. Where do you see yourself in five years?
Married to the man of my dreams, in a beautiful house that I decorated solely from Pinterest, with an amazing job in graphics that I couldn't get enough of!

3. What are you looking forward to before the end of 2013?
I most likely see myself moving, whether it be to a new apartment, maybe to Ohio, maybe somewhere new. Who knows where life will take me by that point?

4. What are your hopes for your blog?
I love using my blog as a creative outlet. Whether it be a post about a new outfit, a new craft, or the rare recipe posts, I just hope I'm inspiring my followers!

5. Do you always see yourself living in your current town/city?
I don't think I've ever seen a home as permanent. I love Charlotte, but I also love traveling and moving and seeing everything!

6. What is your morning routine?
I usually lay in bed, watch an episode of New Girl (or whatever show I'm on), make a cup of coffee, get dressed, fix my hair and head out the door. Working as a lifeguard is great, because you know you'll be getting wet at some point in the day so no one cares what you look like. No make-up, messy ponytail, it all works in my lazy routine.

Anthropologie Inspiration

I've decided to help myself get back into the swing of blogging, that I wanted to make an outfit compilation post at least once a week featuring a different store each time. You might have seen my Target outfit last week. This week, in honor of turning in a job application yesterday, I decided to focus on Anthropologie. Yes, their prices are a bit steep, but who can avoid this store?!

Sunday Social

1. What are 3 items you can’t live without on a daily basis (water, food, shelter, and clothes don’t count)?
iPhone, computer, and heating pad. It's really pathetic how addicted I am to technology!

2. What is your all time favorite book?
19 Minutes by Jodi Piccoult. It was the first one I read by her and it was such a good choice to get me hooked on her.

3. What is something you’d like to accomplish before the end of 2013?
Finishing the book I've been working on this month.

4. If you could go back and relive any year of your life which year would it be?
2011. There is just so much I wish I could change about that year.

5. What do you wish people knew about you without you having to tell them?
That I'm the pickiest eater in the whole wide world. I appreciate the time and effort that went into that dinner, but EW.

So Long Sweet Summer

Oh gosh, I hope that title doesn't show my age. Or my horrible middle school taste in music. Or maybe you guys don't even know what I'm talking about? Either way, we're in the official last month of summer. Kids are getting their supplies, teenagers are buying the perfect back to school outfits, college students are getting their new computers (like I did last night YAY!), and parents are getting ready for a little peace and quiet. All that being said, I am going to seriously miss the summer weather. I would take shorts and a tank top, almost always over a sweater and big itchy jacket. Here's one of my last summer outfits that I'll be posting this year!
